NYC-living Evan Francis has been a professional musician since the late 1990s, composing and performing on saxophone, flute, clarinet, percussion and voice in his hometown, Los Angeles.  He has been repeatedly named a "Rising Star" in the Downbeat Magazine Critics Poll.

 

He has performed and recorded with notables like Stevie Wonder, Michael Buble, the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Eigsti, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Helen Sung, Meshell Ndegeocello,  Lyrics Born, Talib Kweli, Art Davis and many more. He is featured on the Grammy-winning debut record of the Pacific Mambo Orchestra and played on the first North American tour of the Tony-Award winning Broadway show called "The Band's Visit".
