The Visitors
Music is the universal language
About The Visitors
The Visitors is a group of musicians from diverse backgrounds that create original music songs drawing from global influences; intending to bring people from different cultures together through music. The band members are Israeli, Palestinian, Canadian, French, Colombian and American.
The Visitors met as the original band for the 10-time Tony Award-winning musical "The Band's Visit" Broadway National Tour. The group began playing each other's music and performing in the various cities they toured through. The reactions were warm and enthusiastic from a diverse audience across the United States.
The Visitors have performed in different configurations of four to nine musicians and often include special guest musicians &/or vocalists (or "friends of The Visitors"); including Sasson Gabay, Janet Dacal, Jennifer Apple, Bligh Voth, Sarah Kapner, Kells Nollenberger, Adrian Ries, Kane Mathis, Brian Krock, Wick Simmons, Almog Sharvit and Ran Livneh.
Music has always been an international language. The global village is more accessible today than ever before. The Visitors offer a fascinating musical encounter and allow people to connect and understand that the bridge between each other is shorter than they think.
